context

Our investigation started with Henning Larsen, continued with Falck fire station and arrived at FBAB residents, revealing four focus points to enhance wooden constructions: debunking misconceptions about fire safety in timber buildings, identify the major doubt of a client, explore solutions for the potential communication tools, and activate the available resources at Henning Larsen in a targeted manner.

How might we influence people’s choices towards sustainable building solutions by debunking the misinformation surrounding the danger of fire?

final design

Plant a Seed is an interactive form that the client will fill out during Henning Larsen meetings, highlighting doubts and expectations through a visual result, and finally  reconnecting with the material that Henning Larsen is currently using to communicate to the clients the benefits of building with timber.

Feedbacks

"You have a very interesting approach to the topic and understood that a crucial point of promoting building in wood and more sustainable construction materials is a successful communication with the client and stakeholders. You showed easy to understand visual helps for communicating and creating an early dialogue with any client hesitating to build in timber. Your interactive evaluation sheet is a new and interesting way to identify the most important issues and debunk myths and I would definitely love to see the tool being developed further and tested in a real situation."
